Juice Jam is a free-to-play match-three mobile puzzle game from the makers of Cookie Jam. In this game, you have to match fruit and make them into smoothies for the thirsty customers who appear on your screen; as you progress, orders become more and more demanding, with variant levels interrupting the simple routine.
Swipe, match, repeat
If you've played other match-three puzzle games, you'll find the gameplay in Juice Jam easily recognisable. You match fruit of different colours, hoping to create groups of three or more to meet your customers' demands. Only three customers appear at a time, but more will replace them. You have a limited number of moves to match the requirements of your customers' orders. Different levels will impose different limits on the game, but the basics are always the same. The controls are simple and easy to use -- match-three controls are really a solved problem -- while the graphics are cute and colourful, especially the various cartoon animals. Like many other free-to-play puzzle games, this title relies both on ads and in-app purchases, although compared to those in some other games these ones are relatively reasonable.
Solid but not revolutionary
If you're a fan of match-three puzzle games, you'll enjoy Juice Jam, a well-executed but not exceptional example of the genre with simple play, colourful graphics and enough variety to keep things interesting.
